Install Latest Fornit Battle Royal with Wine 3.3

Hello,

I try to install latest version of Fornite Battle Royal with Wine 3.3 but without success.

There is some instructions with the wiki but they are old. The new Epic Game Launcher doesn't work anymore with wine.

Has anyone found a workarround to get EpiC Game Launcher and Fornite working ?

Is there a way to play Fornite Battle Royal without Epic Game Launcher ?

I recommend to re-test with Wine Staging 3.5 ...
Rest assured that Wine Staging packages are available for all main Linux distributions and MacOS (since you appear to have forgotten - perhaps momentarily - what OS you are currently using)...

The STATUS: STAGED for WineHQ Bug 41258 - UE4 applications crash with "Assertion failed: Count >= 0" (Epic Games Launcher, Paragon) ...
Means that the bug has "preliminary" fix - which is only in the Wine Staging (Git) tree.

Sorry, I didn't answer earlier but I didn't get notified of your repply, don't know why.

And totally forgot my OS which is : Xubuntu 14.04, I know it's a bit old but don't have time to install something newer for now.

I tried to install wine-staging on Xubuntu 14.04 but the repo aren't up to date (last version 2.21). I think I need to upgrade my system... Or maybe there is wine-staging 3.5 packages for 14.04 somewhere but I doubt.

You need the forked Wine Staging repository:
