Not totally sure you guys can help, but here goes: I have the above puppy linux and win10 on the same hard disc. I use a pre-boot usb key with vmlinuz and indrt.gz(?) to select the sfs files in an ext2 partition- on the hard disk to run the puppy. the save file is also with the sfs files.
My printer-an FX-Docuprint P115w- does not have linux drivers, tho some Mac ones exist. Both OS's have a copy of Libre Office 5.4. I want to be able to select an object for printing in Linux and pass it to the windows printer driver for printing. I do not know what I am doing, so verbosity is an help. I'm happy to pass the object via the windows Libre Office. I'd like a drag and drop icon on my desktop to do this. thanks.

Re: xenialpup64-7.5 and win10: printing problem
Windows hardware drivers don't work in Wine.
Re: xenialpup64-7.5 and win10: printing problem
Probably you doesn't need any drivers. Don't use the USB-connection, but use the printer with the WIFI setup to connect the printer with your local LAN. Install CUPS on your computer. Go toFX-Docuprint P115w
Code: Select all

FYI, according to this thread on the Puppy Linux forum your printer will work with the Brother HL1250 driver.
