TP link utility to configure a dlan network

Hi all,

I'd like to ask you whether there are any prospects to tun "TP-link utility" needed to configure a TP-link network. My favorite OS is Ubuntu 14.04 or 16.04. The official TP-link support only provides solutions for windows and younger Mac-OS versions.

The AppDB doesn't have an entry for "TP-Link utility." There is one for "TP-Link Printer Controller" with a garbage rating, but those test reports are all very old. The only way to find out if it works in current Wine is to try it.

I've tried it, yet. Failed again. It's a quite new software uploaded to the internet on 26th May 2017. So I submitted the bug 44678 with an enclosed back trace file. Maybe there is a solution. Thank you for your support.
