Hello WineHQ,
I have question about running Windows-based software in Linux (Mint or Debian) for Digital Signage.
The software in question is DigitalSignage.com:s SignagePlayer, which formerly had Linux support but lost it when Adobe took away support for Adobe Air in GNU/Linux.

I cannot find any documentation on how hard or easy this would be?
Thank you in advance.
Using Wine to run Digital Signage
Re: Using Wine to run Digital Signage
The only way to find out is to try it. Use winetricks to install Adobe Air.

It almost works, the text is replaced with strange icons and I cannot get past this prompt.
I installed Adobe Air but not through Winetricks, is that required?

Re: Using Wine to run Digital Signage
Try winetricks corefonts for the fonts issue. The app installs Adobe Air itself; if it works, there's no need to install it with winetricks.

For me it works fine up to the login, using a fresh WINEPREFIX and wine-3.0-rc3. Can't test further sicne I don't have an account.

This sounds promising and your advice seems to be on the money, however I dont know how to install or find corefonts or the other file which you suggest. Can I install it via the terminal or Synaptic?
Very glad to hear that it works for you, I might not be that far off after all.
