Problems installing Wine

Post by Oflameo »

I back ported Wine so I can get Zero-K working using this guide http://zero-k.info/mediawiki/index.php? ... hics_Linux. I needed to do it to get my core profile Max core profile version over 4.1. I am am on amd64 hardware with amd64 software. Just I can't just install the Wine package in Debian because It depends on a i686 graphics stack.

The Linux instructions for that game say to run it with native Mono, not Wine, and the wiki page you linked to says nothing about using Wine either. AFAICT, you don't need Wine at all for this game.

As for problems installing Wine, you have to tell us exactly what the problem is before anyone can help you. One thing I can tell you is that pure 64 bit Wine isn't a supported configuration and won't run much of anything.
