Hello. I have legal copy of Visio 2010 with our corporate key. I can install it, run it, but cannot activate it online. Phone activation is not available in our country. After some investigation with WireShark, i've found out that Visio is trying to connect to MS activation service using TLS encryption, but fails since wine doesn't have certain trusted root CA certificates in store.
I've tried to go to Control Panel->Internet Settings->Content->Certificates and manually import certificate from other windows computer, it goes throuth all steps successfully, but certificate does not apper in the list and nothing changes.
So, is there some way to install missing certificates?
I'm using PlayOnLinux, installed wine 2.0.3 32 bit.
How to update root CA's ? Problem with Office activation.
Re: How to update root CA's ? Problem with Office activation
Wine uses the certificates installed on the host system; that's where you need to install them.
FYI, PlayOnLinux is not supported here.

Any pointers where to add them on Linux Mint 18.2 ?
I just guessed it's not related to POL.dimesio wrote:FYI, PlayOnLinux is not supported here.

Just scanned all hdd for .pem and .crt files, none of them has any Microsoft's certificates, but they are sure there in wine.
