Hello people,
I have tried many times, using various versions of wine (currently using wine-2.18), without success.
I have read the forum tips about this app (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... &iId=15162) with no success.
The problem is that the 'I agree' button does not show up to be clicked, then the install proccess can't go on.
Any help?
Thanks a lot

The situation is in the image bellow
Re: ERwin Data Modeler r7 does not install
Did you install native riched20 and msls31 as the most recent AppDB test report suggests? Both can be installed with winetricks.
If that doesn't work, https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4756#c35 has a workaround for a similar problem with another app that you could try.

Yes, I have copied riched20 and msls31 from my windows 7 drive. No success.
I have read (don't remember where) about trying copying msvcirt and riched32. I have done. No success.
So, currently, I have installed on my wine this four libraries. The configuration is like the image bellow.

Re: ERwin Data Modeler r7 does not install
Ok, Now I have succeeded.
I have done all this:
Removed ~/.wine directory and did a fresh configuration of wine 2.19 (updated this morning).
Got the newest version of winetricks from https://wiki.winehq.org/Winetricks#Getting_winetricks (the ubuntu version is very old, something like 2014xxx).
Installed from winetricks the riched30 dll pack.
Then, I was able to install (see the images).
The I agree button:
Finishing the installation process and lauching ERwin:
The prompt for a license key:
The add license key screen:
Here I got another problem. After have put the license key and then click on continue button the program doesn't start. So I went to a console window and tried to start it manually.
But I was asked again to put the license key.
The first one was there, but appears not to be recognised.

Re: ERwin Data Modeler r7 does not install
Here are a few more testing steps.
The error message 'err:winediag:SQLDrivers No ODBC drivers could be found. Check the settings for your libodbc provider.' was solved with the following command:
export LIB_ODBC_DRIVER_MANAGER=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libodbc.so.1
Before this, the variable LIB_ODBC_DRIVER_MANAGER was empty.
Then I tried again and got this message:
@localhost:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/CA/AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler r7$ wine ERwin.exe
err:module:import_dll Library MFC42.DLL (which is needed by L"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\CA\\SharedComponents\\CA_LIC\\lic98Service.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\CA\\SharedComponents\\CA_LIC\\lic98Service.exe" failed, status c0000135
err:winediag:ODBC_LoadDriverManager failed to open library "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libodbc.so.1": /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libodbc.so.1: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
as you can see in the image bellow:
Then I saw the need of MFC42.DLL, went to winetricks again, install it and ran ERwin.exe again.
SUCCESS!
Thanks all.
