Post by Maniaxx »

Hallo,

Re: DirMaster crash

Post by DrBed »

It's general glitch I missed. Copy & paste and drag and drop makes DirMaster crash in last version (v3.11.). Last version didn't has that problem. Authors are aware of that.
I'll correct report.

i added it anyway in the appdb since it,unfairly or not towards wine, seemily runs fine under windows.

there haven't been any updates for dirmaster since 2016 so it certainly doesn't look like anything is happening regarding updates and
it's a crying shame since it's not far from near perfect compability.

Does it work on windows without issues? One of you should file a a bug report, if you haven't already. The wine developers hardly follow the user forum, but they do read bug reports. Depending on the issue, it may take some time until it will eventually be fixed, but without bug reports no developer will ever take notice.

Well if i interpret the poster above me correctly he says it's an issue with the actual DirMaster program that the authors are aware of,it's just that it doesn't actually crash in windows when doing the drag'n'drop operation like it does under wine.

i will look into how to do bugreports anyway, guess it can't hurt.
