feathercoin-qt 9.6.1 won't save backup

feathcoin-qt wallet almost works but when you close it, it automatically backs up the wallet, and then doesn't work well because their are black blocks where option buttons are supposed to be. Then you can't close the program without force-quit. I think maybe it just needs some dll files but don't know how to find out which. I am using wine 1.6.2 on Ubuntu Trusty.

Upgrade Wine; 1.6.2 is over three years old and no longer supported.

I tried to cut and paste the Mint 17x ppa from your site but it didn't paste right. Could you post the procedure again here?

Added the ppa from your website but it didn't upgrade wine at all, however feathercoin wallet suddenly started working properly.
