unknown error message

ERROR:network_change_notifier_win.cc(143) WSALookupServiceBegin failed with: 0

This is for an online game(s) Cryptic Studios makes both Star Trek Online and Neverwinter. I am currently running both WINE 2.0 and 2.3 staging. Both games spat out this error in the debug log before crash to desktop. System requirements are met or exceeded, I am set to Windows 7 configuration, and I am able to login but as the game loads this crash occurs.

If this is game related error and not a WINE issue, I will drop this here and attend to it in proper channels. I thought it might be the firewall blocking but turning off had no effect. I checked in on other forums and this error seems to be WINE related but no easy answer.

According to Bug 42923 - Neverwinter Online new module crashes with wine-2.7-staging ... You'll need at least Wine Staging 2.8.
Although it would probably be a lot easier to just install Wine Staging 2.14, surely?

Btw extracts from terminal logs are not useful...
