Info about .wine directory and my new wine 3.0

I use Linux Mint 18.3 (live persistent USB) and my old version of Wine was 2.4.X and now I have updated everything to the new v3.0
I see that some games don't work again very good, no prob this and i understand that this is possible/normal, my question is:
If i delete my ".wine" directory in "Home", maybe something will be better? The Wine v3.0 need a reset by deleting the ".wine" directory?

Yes, if things have stopped working after an upgrade you can try deleting .wine and reinstalling your apps/games. Sometimes that works, especially if the upgrade was a big jump in versions.
