Wine Installation Error: apt-add-repository: Command not fou

Iv'e been trying to install wine on ubuntu 12.04, but whenever i run the command

sudo apt-add-repository https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/

i get the following error

sudo: apt-add-repository: command not found


I have never used ubunto before and any help would be muchappreciated

Ask on the Ubuntu forum which package you need to install to get apt-add-repository.

Ubuntu 12.04 is EOL (end of support) this month anyway... Your 5 years are up!!
