I know it isn't in the database yet, but I'd very much like to get The Aetherlight installed and running in Wine. It seems that it doesn't install because the "winbind" package isn't on my system. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should know about winbind before adding it. Thank you for your help.
Wine is version 2.3.

Re: The Aetherlight winbind errors
I couldn't get winbind:i386 to install. It complained of missing dependencies, which I can't install.

Code: Select all
The following packages have unmet dependencies:

Re: The Aetherlight winbind errors
This is more a question about Ubuntu adminsitration, you probably should ask in an Ubuntu forum. Quick googling found me a bug report about Ubuntu 14.04 having issues with winbind. There was no real solution in the bug report, maybe it will help to remove the 64bit winbind package (if installed) and anything related to it, e.g. libnss-winbind.
