Crash when installing PolderBits

Post by Banzai Beagle »

I installed a program called PolderBitS using Wine 1.5 but when I attempt to install it using Wine 1.6 it fails with this message:

“Unable to install the Audio Driver. Error code: 5 - 7A Insufficient buffer”

Ideas?

Upgrade Wine; 1.6 is over three years old and no longer supported.

Sorry, I do not know what "post terminal output" means. How do I do that?

I don't know where you got Wine from, but that is not a WineHQ package, and not 2.1, as a winepulse driver was added to Wine long ago.

2.2 is out now; upgrade, and use the WineHQ packages. https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu
