Controller Help

Hi,
I've got an XBox 360 controller setup with xboxdrv, and when I'm in wine, it recognises the controller as I can go into the settings a test the input, all of which appear to be working. The issue I'm having is that none of my games seem to recognise the controller being plugged in, is there anything specific to wine I need to do for the games to accept the input too?

Some extra info
I'm running Fedora 23 64bit, Wine 1.7.49. Using a 64 bit prefix (Although I've tried 32 bit too)
The controller works for native linux games I'm running through steam.
