Starcraft 2 used to work fine for me, but after the 3.0 update Blizzard recently released it now crashes. I can log in to the main battle.net UI with no problems, but when I click "Start" for SC2 I get the message:
An Unexpected Fatal Error Has Occurred
I'm on Fedora 21 and using wine 1.7.39, does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?
Thanks

Re: starcraft 2 crashes after 3.0 patch update
Your Wine version is old, so start by upgrading. If the problem persists, post terminal output.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried updating wine, but this did not solve it.
I did, however, find a post on a different forum about this same problem, the solution is to change the settings for SC2 to 32 bit in the battle.net client.
