Hi,
Running Linux Mint 17.2 K.D.E. 64Bit fully updated.
I installed current WINE beta 1.7.50 and then installed Valve's Steam client for Windows.
When I run Steam for Windows in WINE I get an error about "WebHelper" crash and then Linux Mint crashes.
Any idea how to fix the above?
Thanks!
Jesse

Either leave the Windows version set to XP or try the patch in wine-staging.

Setting the Windows version to XP wont work with Valve's Steam client for Windows.
I am using the beta branch of WINE, will it be updated soon with a fix?
Thanks!

The Steam client works fine here in XP mode. It's up to the wine-staging developers whether/when they will submit the patch to the development branch.

Sorry, last time I used Steam under WINE it would not work in XP mode.
It's working now in XP mode, thank you!
