Installer request windows 7 or higher (Lightroom 5.7)

Post by mikachu05 »

Hi everyone,

I am quite new on Linux. I tried to install lightroom 5.7 with Wine > click right > open with Wine.

It asks my language and try to extract but after few seconds, I have the message that the software requieres windows 7 or higher.

How can I bypass this issue ?

Thank you,

Michel

You can change the Windows version in winecfg.

Hi!

Thank you. After I posted, I found that solution (but my post was waiting to be approved) but I have another problem.

So now I change in winecfg > it accepts to install > after a few seconds, it is said that there was an expected error from wine and so, it cannot finish the install.

Any idea ?

Thank you :)

What Wine version are you using? If it's not the latest development release, upgrade. If the problem persists, post terminal output. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
