Winecfg startswith `fixme:ole` message

Post by nlern »

Hello, I have Wine 1.7.46 installed in 64 bit Arch linux. My Desktop Environment is LXDE. Whenever I execute winecfg from terminal, I get this error:

Code: Select all

fixme:ole:RemUnknown_QueryInterface No interface for iid {00000019-0000-0000-c000-000000000046}
Though afterwards winecfg starts and I can do the customisations.

My question is that `Is the above message an error?` I don't have very much knowledge regarding thisso if anyone can highlight on this will be great help to me.

Thank you.

No. Fixmes are unimplemented functions. If everything is working, don't worry about them.

I already told you: it means the function is not implemented in Wine.
