Hi, I am using Ubuntu Live CD [Main Harddrive is dead, cannot overwrite operating system. Mother won't let me take it apart] with Wine installed. Wine works fine except for this:
Flight Simulator X. I am attempting to run it from an External Drive [Seagate 1TB]. I have the install disks and I installed it to the external as the computer with the LiveCD [USB] does not have a Disk Drive. I right click on the FSX Program Logo and click run with Wine Windows Program Loader, but nothing happens.
Please help! I love FSX, Ubuntu and Wine!

Where is your Wine prefix located? If you want to install the game on external hard drive, then Wine prefix should be there too. Read http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#wineprefix . If you still have issues, please post terminal output (if you do not know how to get it, please read http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-525985f ... e1ee7bafd3 ) and your Wine version (run "wine --version" to get it).

The game is already installed on an External Hard drive, but when I right click on the icon and load it with Wine, nothing happens.L. Rahyen wrote:Where is your Wine prefix located?
