Hi there,
I am running Babylon 8 (the translator) over wine 1.7.25 on a Kubuntu Trusty amd64 box. It runs acceptably well although there's a glitch I am trying to workaround.
Babylon starts up minimized on the system tray, which is cool. It natively provides a customizable shortcut to pop up the client ... but it seems it doesn't work. This is the problem I am trying to workaround.
I have tried to activate the Babylon client window through the 'xdotool' utility ... but it doesn't work due to there is no Babylon client window. There is only a Babylon icon resting on the system tray ... nothing else.
As an alternative, I am wondering if there is a way to SEND the previously commented customizable shortcut to the Babylon.exe proccess so that the Babylon client can pop up.
Thank you very much !!!
