I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 (but the same problem was present on 12.10), ati hd 7770 with the fglrx-update drivers.
In Deus Ex the area is white but at the same position.
Can someone help me figure out whats the problem?

In both Tomb Raider and Deus Ex Human Revolutions a large area is missing. The edges are moving an shifting around a little.
