Can someone get played? Actually game runs with nothing overrides, winetricks etc. and loading with some graphical distortions (33125) before profile screen, than has stopped without any message.

How could it be, that for playing needs a previous and more oldest version? Such as this 1.5.25 doesn't working for.
But 1.5.9 or maybe newer working well.

Same problem here... I can see the "Profile" thing on bottom right corner and than freezes...
There's also some kind of weird graphic glitch.

The game is crashing due to a regression bug.

If you don't want to compile, you can try as a variant to launch through PlayOnLinux which means selections previous versions of Wine.

Actually I'm using Wine only. But for testing and confirming such of things of this game I've installed POL.
