Printer panel xp native

I read the trough the forum but I couldn't find the issue. May be already solved.
I run Wine on Ubuntu 12.10
I can't get the printing window whenever the software I run uses the XP default printer panel.
If the software has its own printer interface everything works
As an example:
Notepad.exe from Win98 works and prints
Notepad.exe from XP does not print, printer panel doesn't popup at all

Any help?
