Trying to run a Visual Basic application

Post by Virum » Fri Feb 22, 2013 9:41 am

Im getting some errors i've never run into before

Code: Select all

err:mscoree:LoadLibraryShim error reading registry key for installroot
protocol "IP" not found; You might want to add this to /etc/protocols
err:ole:CoInitializeEx Attempt to change threading model of this apartment from multi-threaded to apartment threaded
fixme:win:FlashWindowEx 0x33f420
I added a protocol for this application in my /etc/protocols

Code: Select all

myVBApp 3822 myVBapp
With no change.

The message says what's missing is the protocol "IP"; that's what you need to add to /etc/protocols.
