error message

Post by sawer » Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:02 am

First I'd like to thank the developers of wine for the work you have done so far.
I'm trying to get Xara Designer 6 to work. I'm getting this error message. (internal program error 2936.k.me.ps) I don't know what it means, any help with this?
I did get Corel 9 to work and almost X3 but it didn't finish registering.
Thanks sawer

I think I found the answer, I need to install MSXML4 and wintricks. How do I do this, and where do I find them?
Thanks Sawer

Install 1.5.24 and try again.
About terminal output read here - http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-525985f ... e1ee7bafd3

Seems you have compiled Wine by yourself. Try to install via Download page.

After upgrading wine to 1.5.22 and install msxml.4 before installing everything so far works. I still get the error message but it doesn't stop me from using text in Xara.
Thanks all the input
