High CPU utilization in 1.5.23 with uTorrent 2.2.1

I have a six core AMD server with 16GB of RAM. It is currently running Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop.

Before, I had Ubuntu 9.10 and Wine (I think 1.2.x) and uTorrent 2.2.1. which worked flawlessly.

Right now I experience roughly 60-90% utilization when running my current setup. I want to know how I can fix this issue?

Should I just uninstall WINE and install an older version? Or should I try 1.4.1 before going to 1.2.x

Now, I know there are other native torrent clients, but none give me the features and speed that I get with this current setup.
