None of my games can't change resolution anymore- xrandr err

Post by chris_linux » Sat Jan 26, 2013 3:36 am

Hi guys,

when i want to change the resolutions of my running games i get xrandr errors.

err:xrandr:xrandr12_set_current_mode Resolution change not successful -- perhaps display has changed?

Anything i can do to debug/solve this issue ?

Many thanks,
Christian

wine-1.5.22 out of ubuntu repos.

But my self compiled wine 1.5.20 shows the same issue (without ubuntu specific patches)

Your subject line says you can't do this "anymore"; that implies it used to work in Wine. If that is the case, try reverting to the last Wine version that worked, and if that fixes it, run a regression test.
