Wine via xrdp session

I have worked and tweaked the settings so that my Veterinary management software (Avimark) works nearly perfectly in wine 1.5.22 ubuntu 12.04. One annoying quirk, that is not quite a showstopper is that if I log in remotely via xrdp and reminna or from a windows machine via remote desktop connection, the 10 key pad won't work.

Interestingly, open office linux version in the same xdrp session sees the 10 key pad, open office windows version doesn't see the 10 key pad.

So the keyboard is mapping properly to the xdrp session unity 2d desktop, and native linux programs, but the 10 key numerics are not being passed to a running wine program.

Again. on the same machine direct session, not xdrp, it all runs fine, and the characters pass to wine. So close, yet so far
