Hi all and a happy new year.
I had installed Photoline32 on a Laptop under WINE1.4 (Ubuntu 12.04)
I did the samne thing on a new PC, same conditions/systems (Same Ubuntu, same WINW, same Photoline, Standard installation, same start parameters, both computers running 32bit) and Photoline will not start!
After trying to start Photoline, I can observe in the system surveillance:
winedevice.exe, wineserver and PhotoLine.exe appear shortly in the listy of running processes but then disdappear again.
Another WIN program (LTSpice) is running smoothly under WINE!
I reinstalled WINE, I installed the latest 1.5 version -> same effect.
I reinstalled Photoline32, -> same effect
Any hints what else I can check?
Regards
Michael
Photoline32 problem on new PC: Does not work with WINE1.4
Re: Photoline32 problem on new PC: Does not work with WINE1.
Reading this forum I learned how to start via Termina.
And there I found an error message:
wine: Unhandled stack overflow at address 0x6d7478 (thread 0009), starting debugger...
err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 1056 bytes in thread 0009 eip 7bc5c244 esp 00230f10 stack 0x230000-0x231000-0x330000
What can I do?
regards
Michael
