I always try to find answers online before I start a topic in a forum. When ever I do a search on how to use Wine they all start with select "applications" then "wine" but it is not there. When I open up the "applications" folder there is no wine folder. I have Linux Mint with the sock MATE desktop so it should be there like it is with people using GNOME 2.
This is making it imposable to follow along on all the wine tutorials I find on the internet because they all seem to start by going to the "applications" folder to show you how to do things with wine.
Anyone know how to put wine into the "applications" folder like is shows in the wine tutorials?
"applications" folder not there

Do not start multiple threads for the same topic. I'm locking this one.
