I know this is a rather stupid question, but I simply couldn't find a definite answer anywhere:
since I can have multiple wineprefixes, does that also mean I get different "copies" of wine? How can I make sure that a certain program is run within a certain wineprefix?
The problem is this: I have installed a wineprefix for wine, with the help of winetricks. I also used the winetricks GUI to add some Windows .dlls and components (directX and others). But somehow I cannot add any of the dotnet frameworks. It tells me that they do not support 64bit OSes. So I thought I could just download the 64bit installer from the internet and install it. BUT, how can I install it in this wineprefix and not in my default .wine folder?
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Terces
How do I use winetricks?
Re: How do I use winetricks?
Now that link should DEFINATELY be included in THIS wiki page. Whenever you try to find more information about winetricks, you get linked to the winetrick wiki page, which really isn't that helpful. Reading through the wineprefix page really helped though.
Thank you.
Thank you.
