Does Vegas 7 run through WINE?

I'm done with windows. I'm sick of all it's annoying issues and I've spent a lot of time looking over everything and have come to the conclusion that any Linux would be far better for me. However, there are two Windows applications that I'm concerned about. Steam, which I already know will run through WINE, and Vegas 7. I looked it up and some people say it won't work, but all of those posts are really old and I was wondering if there has been an update for it since then. Also, if WINE won't work, would a Windows VM be able to run it?

The only way to find out for sure is to test it yourself in current Wine.
