I tried launching the shortcut and I get a window that states:
Exception!
Gathering Exception Data...
(This window changes to the following in one second)

options shown: 1. Debug 2. Close
I did everything the tutorial asked.
What went wrong? How can I fix this?

Outside tutorials are not supported here, and the one you followed is over 5 years old; I wouldn't expect it to work for current Wine.
The AppDB has an entry for this game, but the results there are rather old, too. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... n&iId=7906
What I would suggest is you try installing to a clean wineprefix (no winetricks or other tweaks) using current Wine, and if it doesn't work, post terminal output.
