Party Poker/Tower Gaming Poker clients doesn't work!

Post by rob1s »

Hello guys,

I installed both these clients with no problem, it even let's me uninstall them when I launch uninstall.exe, but when I try to launch clients themselves, with Party Poker Client, it just flashes for split second and disappears immediately, with Tower Gaming Poker Client, the mouse cursor turns into loading circle for a bit, but nothing happens. Other people seem to get them working with no major problems, but for me they just don't work at all. What could be the problem? I'm using Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon and Wine 1.4.

Please guys, a solution would be much appreciated!

Start by upgrading to the latest development release. If it still doesn't work, post terminal output. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log

Ok I did upgrade Wine to the latest version (1.5.11 I think), but it didn't help. Here's what Terminal shows me:

robertas@robertas ~ $ cd '.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Tower Gaming Poker'
robertas@robertas ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Tower Gaming Poker $ wine TowerPoker.exe
wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x7ff9fa02 at address 0x7ff9fa02 (thread 002b), starting debugger...

robertas@robertas ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Tower Gaming Poker $
