Possible to run RPGToolkit?

Post by fantasticmuse » Fri Aug 24, 2012 2:24 pm

Back in the day, I used RPGToolkit to knock out a couple cute short adventures for kids. Wanted to give it a shot again so I thought I'd try it in Wine. Couldn't even get it to open. All the info for this is atleast 4 years old, most of older. Wondering if anyone else has info or ideas?

If you are trying to run it, what's the problem? Please post terminal output and describe the problem exactly. Don't forget to tell us your Wine version, it should be 1.5.11 or at least 1.5.10. If the program worked in the past and does not work with new Wine, you can do regression test to help us fix the problem.

AppDB is supported by Wine users, if nobody cares to report the results, then information there will be old or missing. You can update AppDB entry about your program with new information.

In the future, please do not post multiple topics with basically the same question.

Sorry about that, 'net cut out and I wasn't sure if it nixed my post or not.

'Net cut out again, got bored, 9 hours later I finally fiddled around enough to get it to open and run. GUI is almost entirely unresponsive, access to the preloaded tiles and characters is a crap shoot.

Anyone got anything different/better?
