directx 9c wine dxsetup.exe never opens

i followd the procedure of How to install DirectX in Linux using Wine. i was stuck at the the openning the dxsetup.exe under the folder of wine directx_9c_redist.exe. i click dxsetup.exe and i cant open it. it open then automatically close the windows within 1 second. any advise please..

Wine already comes with DirectX. Why you are trying to install it? What exactly does not work for you? If you need some DLLs from original DirectX, it is better idea to install them with winetricks (run "winetricks dlls list | grep -i directx" to see all available DirectX DLLs), but this is not necessary in most cases.
