"invalid name" error

Hi,
With Mint 13 Cinnamon can't install simple windows programs eg: mp3DC216.exe
Just says "invalid name"
Mint 12 - no problem.

Please post a log of the problem happening (copy and paste from
the console).

Are you sure you have wine installed? :-)

Mint 12 - no problem.
Since Mint 13 is based on Ubuntu 12.04, it probably suffers from many of the same problems. Read the sticky about Ubuntu 12.04.

Yes wine 1.4 is installed. Simply right clicking the windows program & trying to "Open with" "Wine Windows Program Loader" gives me the message "invalid name." That's it.
Mint 12 - no prob.

Yes I looked at the Ubuntu 12.04 sticky - didn't see anything about a program not even loading.

What happens when you try to run it from a terminal?
