Freeze with wine 1.5.4

I have problem with wine 1.5.4. When I press any key on my keyboard , the program freezes.

I don't have this kind of problem with the wine 1.4.

With the command WINEDEBUG=event winecfg, I don't receive any event from my keyboard

What program? If reverting to an older version solves the problem, run a regression test and file a bug.

Which Linux Distribution are you using and what version?

The bug that AJ refers to affects RHEL 5.8 and projects built on it
(CentOS/Puppy/Scientifc) at the 5.x level. Solution is in the bug
report.
