Very Strange and Probably Obscure Problem

Martin and James, thanks to you both for helping me to figure out what the problem with my system is and the resolution to the problem.

Well.... Replaced the drive.... which needed to be done in anycase. But.... It did not resolve the initial problem.

Since the hard drive has been replaced, I've had to reinstall the 32bit libraries twice already.

This is really driving me a bit nuts. Only a bit lol

Any additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
