When Will WINE PPA Update To 1.4 Stable?

Hi,

Running kubuntu 11.10 and installed WINE PPA.

WINE 1.4 Stable was released over 1 week ago,
but the WINE PPA still has 1.4rc6 ?

When will WINE PPA update to WINE 1.4 Stable?

why are you posting here ? its a pure ubuntu decision, nothing related to winehq. By the way 12.04 already have it in universe archive a gecko into multiverse.

Wine 1.4 is in 12.04, correct.
But the PPA for older Ubuntu versions does not yet contain 1.4:

This is not an Ubuntu decision but I think the maintainer is a Wine developer.

That does not matter. The Ubuntu PPA updates are outside the control
of the Wine Project. Like you were advised, contact the PPA
maintainers.
