Approach field scrolls under left side when typing

Hi All,

Wine-1.7.30.i686

In certain fields in Lotus Approach, when I do a find, the letters I type scroll of the left side of the box. You can only see the last letter your typed.

And this pops up in the parent terminals each time I press a letter:

fixme:edit:EDIT_EM_FmtLines soft break enabled, not implemented

Is there a work around for this?
