IrfanView (doesn't matter which version, all behave the same) has a weird problem with fullscreen mode with Wine 7.7 - the panel remains visible even in fullscreen mode which shouldn't be happening. Since the program's fullscreen mode works as expected natively in Windows, my only guess is that for whatever reason Wine isn't recognizing the fullscreen mode of the program. When in fullscreen, nothing else should be visible except the image itself and its address, the panel should be hidden BEHIND the fullscreened image, not in front of it.
Here are two screenshots: one of the image in normal viewing mode and one in fullscreen mode.

Re: Wine 7.7 problem with IrfanView
With GNOME 42.1, IrfanView seems to work normally full screen.
Which Desktop Environment do you use?
Does it make any difference if you disable
"Allow the window manager to control the windows"
and/ or
"Allow the window manager to decorate the windows"
in winecfg → Graphics ?

Re: Wine 7.7 problem with IrfanView
Two questions.
- Does full screen work in an older versions of Wine?
- Does full screen work if you "Disable compositing for full-screen windows" in Cinnamon's System Settings?
