should I allow Microsoft Office automatic updates?

Hi,
I just installed Wine and Microsoft Office 2007. During the install I was asked if I wanted to allow to automatic downloads of updates. I said "no" because I am new to Wine and google didn't find me an answer to this question. Can somebody please give some advice?

I don't allow automatic updates for Office. Service packs can be downloaded and installed manually.
