Linux noob

Post by Tortus »

OK, Well... I have had it with Windows. I need some help switching to Linux. I downloaded Back Track and would like to set it up to use the following.

1. Ventrillo
2. Steam - CS, Left 4 Dead 2, MLB2k, Grand Theft Auto, MW 2... etc.

These 2 items are the only things that have kept me from switching completely to Linux.

Not sure if it matters, but here is my setup…
i7
BFG GTX285 OCFU
6 gigs mem

Any thoughts or suggetstions to start me in the right direction would be great! Thanks!

The best advice I could give to is to keep windows for the games. It will never be as good on linux as on windows.
