I am having an issue with a software that expect a usb stick mass storage device. I plugged a usb stick, but the soft doesn't detect it. I ran the browser with winetricks and I can access the usb stick I intend to use. So I ran winecfg to check the drive setting. It is present at I: (why not) and linked to expected /media/myName/stickName . Ok, so I checked out its type and it is selected to autodetect. I checked out the other options, it can be set to local drive, net share, floppy or cd, but no usb mass storage option is available. So I guess that the soft running doesn't want to write anywhere else but on a mass drive it can't find cause the usb stick is mounted as some other type.
I haven't found any work around this issue, so any clue is welcome.
