Wine halt itself when the the window is out of focus.

If, for example, I switch window with ALT+TAB and look at Firefox the window with Wine go in 'pause'. There is a way to let it keep on in background?

This sounds like a common problem. I see five or so bugs
with hang and focus in the title:

Might depend on the window manager. Which desktop / WM are you using?

No, Wine does not pause anything. Your game might. Most games detect alt+tab and pausing themselves. There is nothing Wine can do about it.

Make another key shortcut with your VM to switch to a different application. Or switch in a different way.
