So basically I have no idea what i'm doing with wine anyways. I did 'wine Set-up.exe' when cd'd into a directory and it started running but gave this output: 'Could not find Wine Gecko. HTML rendering will be disabled.
0009:err:mshtml:create_document_object Failed to init Gecko, returning CLASS_E_CLASSNOTAVAILABLE
0009:err:msxml:doparse Failed to create parser context'
Anyone know what this means?
I don't really know alot about the layout of wine and the commands so a little explanation would be nice. Thanks!
Error when installing photoshop premeire
Re: Error when installing photoshop premeire
Just bumping this post I need help.
Re: Error when installing photoshop premeire
You did not mention neither version of Photoshop Premiere you are trying to run nor version of wine you are using. You did not provide full terminal output either. And before considering bumping, it is better to wait few days at least.
Anyway, I suggest to look at this AppDB entry: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... on&iId=128 - as you can see most versions of Photoshop Premiere do not run in Wine. This is why knowing exact version you are trying to run is important. Latest working version of Photoshop Premiere (according to AppDB) is Pro CS3. However, most of test results there are old so even if AppDB tells you that your version will not work, there is still a chance you can run it. I suggest to try the following command to install some native libraries in Wine and see if it runs:
winetricks -q msxml3 msxml6 vcrun6 ie6 corefonts vcrun2017 quicktime76
If not, then consider reporting a bug if not already reported: https://bugs.winehq.org (list of know Photoshop Premiere bugs: https://bugs.winehq.org/buglist.cgi?qui ... _id=722480).
