Hardware video decoding and V4L2 (stuff for madmapper)

Madmapper in itself works fine, but to be useful it would require two features that are currently missing. A bridge to dxva2 for hardware video decoding and a bridge to v4l2.
Looking on google, both of these features were somewhat planned in older versions of wine and even got into staging, but seem to be not available today.
Is there any hope we will get support for these features?
