How about bringing some organization to the forums?

Just was wondering why this is all just one big thread? Why isn't this forum broken down into categories such as that on the AppDB?

Educational
Games
Multimedia
Networking & Communication
Programming
Utilities

Seems like it would look a little more orderly and easier to sort peoples questions and expertise. Just a thought to the moderators[/list]

Because it's linked to wine-users mailing list which at best can have separate threads but not separate forums. This links applies number of limitations to what this forum can do.
Also ATM there is no need to split forum. Most posts are intermixed and not related to one particular topic, except being about Wine.

And moreover, the problems are usually not just one app, but some
deeper functionality that's not in Wine. So an unimplemented function
can cause a wide variety of types of application not to work. So the
issues are more likely to be just what error comes up when the app (or
installer or whatever) crashes out.
